Each table will use the arms and leg models find the following muscles and identify them with the tape provided:

 

LOWER LIMBS


Flexor digitorum longus

Flexor hallucis longus

Fibularis brevis

Fibularis longus

Popliteus

Adductor magnus

Adductor longus

Adductor brevis

Gluteus minimus


 

UPPER LIMBS


Extensor digitorum

Adductor pollicus longus

Extensor carpi ulnaris

Extensor carpi radialis brevis

Extensor carpi radialis longus

Anconeus

Brachioradalis

Flexor digitorum superficialis

Flexor carpi ulnaris

Palmaris longus

Flexor carpi radialis

Pronator teres

Pronator quadrates

Flexor  pollicus longus

 

 

MUSCLE MODELING

 

On a skeleton, determine where the following muscles would be found:  iliocostalis lumborum, erectore spinae, spinalis thoracis, longissimus throacis, iliocostalis thoracis, logissimus cercis, longissimus capitis, semispinalis thoracis, quadratus lumborum and diaphragm.  Use the paper provided to make these muscles on the skeleton.

 

On a skeleton determine where the following muscles would be found:  levator ani, urogenital diaphragm, piriformis, and obturator internis.   Use the paper provided to make these muscle on the skeleton.

 

On a skeleton, determine where the following muscle would be found: digastric, stylohyoid, thyrohyoid, mylohyoid, omohyoid, and sternocleidomastoid.

THIS LAB ACTIVITY WILL BE DONE IN GROUPS OF 3 TO 4 STUDENTS.

If students do not do excercise six that material will be added to the lab practical.
